Small Research Grants for Students
The American Musical Instrument Society are offering two small research grants ($500) for student members to carry out research relating to the study of musical instruments. Awardees will be expected to submit their research to the 2023 AMIS meeting and write a piece for the AMIS Newsletter.

Student on 1 June

40 years old or under on 1 June
To apply, fill out the application form (including a 300-word research proposal) and submit proof of your student status. Also, ask a referee who is familiar with your research to send a reference directly. Send your application and reference to Prof. Massimiliano Guido at massimiliano.guido@unipv.it by 1 June, 23:59 EST.
Awardees will be announced after the 2022 AMIS Meeting (8-12 June).
